The 2017 Student STEM + Entrepreneurship Conference provides an international forum for the presentation, discussion, and sharing of best practices in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and entrepreneurship in schools and other academic settings. The conference, now in its third year, features keynote speakers and crowdsourced presentations by students in grades 6 through 12 and college. The annual online event, is free to attend and is scheduled for 9 AM to 9 PM, EST on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

Working under the guidance of educational consultants Lucy Gray and Steve Hargadon, Marymount’s Student Technology Leadership Team works in collaboration with students from the University School of Milwaukee, Willard Public Schools in Missouri, the Hockaday School in Dallas, and a school in Beijing to plan and host the only student-led endeavor of its kind. Over the course of the conference, student presenters and keynoters share innovative approaches and fresh perspectives to their learning in the STEM disciplines and entrepreneurship.
